Data

The Upwelling Index (UI) is calculated from Sea Surface Temperature and Scatterometer wind observations over the global oceans, based on the methodology prescribed by Ray et al. (2022) and Ray & Swain (2023). The accompanying "Readme.txt" file contains detailed information on the calculations, specifications, and usage guidelines of the dataset.

This dataset comprises of the polygon shapefiles of the following Indian cities in EPSG:4326 (WGS84) CRS, georeferenced from toposheets, and city planning maps. Please refer to the "Readme.txt" file for more information.
