Project Title: Assessment of the Physical, Biogeochemical Ocean Processes and Shoreline Change Dynamics along coastal Bay of Bengal in a changing Climate Scenario (PBOS-BoBCoast) (RP532)

Qualifications: M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. with 1st class (%-age or equivalent CGPA) in Marine Sciences / Oceanography / Atmospheric Sciences / Climate Sciences / Geophysics / Physics, with a consistently good academic record


Desirable but not mandatory:

1. Experience in Field Observations, Ocean Sampling, Data Analysis, Ocean Modelling

2. Qualification in NET/GATE/INSPIRE, etc.


Other Information:

1. No. of JRF posts: 1

2. Tenure: 3 years

3. Selected students will be eligible for the PhD programme on fulfilling the requirements as per the Institute norms. This is an ocean data-collection intensive project. Hence, applicants should be ready to spend a considerable amount of time in ocean data collection.

4. Age Limit: 30 years on the date of applying
